ASQ Hawaii is pleased to announce the program for our next monthly membership meeting.  Please join us for this upcoming event.

 

Program Title:  Game Changing Innovation

When: Tuesday, February 21, 2012

Time:  Registration at 5:30 pm, Presentation to follow

Where: Natsunoya Tea House, 1935 Makanani Drive, Honolulu, HI

Parking: Free, based on availability. Street parking may be necessary.

Cost: $20 for members; $25 for non-members.

Our Speaker

Vino Mehta has been a resident of Hawaii for 20 years, and is the owner of Vino Mehta and Associates Inc, a Management Consulting firm based in Honolulu. Clients include Hawaiian Electric, IBM, Cisco, PeopleSoft, Volland Electric (Buffalo, NY), Adtech, HSI Electric, Pacific Marine, Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, City and County and First Hawaiian Bank. 

Vino has a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (India) and Master's in Industrial Engineering (Windsor, Canada). He worked in the manufacturing industry in Toronto, Canada, for 4 years. He joined EXXON in Alberta Oil Sands, in Fort McMurray, Canada, rising to the position of Chief Industrial Engineer in a company of 7000 employees. After 14 years with EXXON, Vino moved to Honolulu and got into Management Consulting. His specialty is "doing whatever is needed to make the company more competitive". This covers productivity improvement, employee engagement, leadership, coaching and mentoring of Executives on down, business growth and innovation, and cranking the business engine to compete against the best.
